I was walking down Kings road yesterday, in the freezing cold (not sure what I was thinking), and as I walked past the Proud Gallery, I remembered the Bowie by Duffy exhibition was still on, so naturally I made a quick stop to finally check it out.

In a nutshell, the exhibition is a celebration of the creative collaboration between legendary artist David Bowie and photographer Brian Duffy, who between 1972-1980, created some of the most iconic images in pop culture. It can also be considered a documentation on the evolution of Bowie as an artist as he changed his persona over the years.

Brian Duffy was a famous fashion photographer best known for his revolutionary photographs in the 60s, which have been featured in top magazines such as Vogue and Harpers Bazaar. Tomorrows post will be an insight into Duffy’s work.

Photos from the exhibition below. If you are around the area before the 19th of this month, definitely check it out.
