The past two weeks have been quite crazy, I had deadlines for uni followed by a short trip to NYC, so unfortunately I had no time to blog. The good news is that I have come back inspired by all the amazing things New York had to offer which I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks.
Yesterday I decided to walk down 5th Avenue since it wasn’t too cold and as I walked past Bergdorf Goodman, I was completely mesmerised by the window displays. I did a bit of research and found out that the theme chosen for this year’s display was ‘the arts’, drawing inspiration from Literature, Architecture, Theater, Painting, Music, Dance, Sculpture and Film. Another interesting fact is that it took 11 months to create the installations. To find out more about the process you can go to http://blogs.wsj.com/photojournal/2014/11/17/behind-the-scenes-bergdorf-goodmans-holiday-window-display/ I had no idea it took so much time but the end result was just incredible.
